
MOVEMENT, CLEAN EATING, SPIRITUAL PRACTICE, SELF RESPONSIBILITY.
My wellness philosophy has been shaped by my journey to health. I’ve had quite the journey (as most of us have) with food, health, body image, and emotional health. If you’re interested in deep diving into my story, you can peek into my books (here). The short story is that I’ve suffered a lot. In mind, in body, and in spirit. I’ve spent the last 20 years of my life seeking. Seeking to find balance, to find happiness, and to find peace.
After all this looking externally, I finally came home. I’ve realized that what I was looking for was never going to be found outside of myself. The answers, of course, were always right inside me.
Sometimes we need a little support in clearing space and creating new life patterns so that we can clearly hear the still small voice within that speak the truth so beautifully.
What I found that most helps to clear off the muck that keeps us from ourselves is MOVEMENT, CLEAN EATING, SPIRITUAL PRACTICE, and SELF RESPONSIBILITY. It easy, especially for women, to go into “let’s care for everyone else” mode and leave ourselves behind. It’s almost an avoidance tactic. Some of us are so scared of who we would be without our story that we try everything in order to avoid glowing up! I know because that’s what I did. I was frightened of what might happen if I truly showed up for myself.
I’m grateful that I had the bravery to push though and interrupt my patterns of living a less than glorious life. We are here for a short time and I am determined to make the absolute best out of it and help as many people as I can do the same.
